WE NEED MORE SÁMI YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S FILMS

International Sámi Film Institute is organising  workshop for Sámi screenwriters for youth and children's films. The aim is to develop quality film scripts for children and youth in any genres. The workshop is organized mainly in a virtual environment in English and Sámi language.

"Film is an important medium for strengthening and passing on Sámi cultural heritage among the youth and the children. Our children deserve to have films in their native tongue and from their own world. That's why ISFI is inviting filmmakers to share their brilliant minds to this vital work", says the Film Commissioner Liisa Holmberg from ISFI
